The City of Coachella has broken ground on the new Rancho Las Flores park in California, US. Construction work of the new park will be carried out in phases. The first phase of the project will involve creation of three soccer fields, a pair of basketball courts, and plenty of play spaces.

Among the various other features of the new property include walking paths sporting exercise stations, shaded picnic areas, a concessions buildings, as well as restrooms. In addition, the facility will be equipped with advanced security and lighting systems.ย Construction of phase I of the project will be financed through a sum of $5 million in state grant. The first phase is due to be over by 2012 end.
