Regeneration specialist Galliford Try Partnerships, announces its South East business has signed two new contracts worth a combined £163 million, including the division’s largest-ever standalone contract at Great Eastern Quays.

Partnerships South East has successfully signed contracts with Notting Hill Housing (NHH) to build phase two of the Great Eastern Quays development at the Royal Docks in London, in a deal worth £128 million to the business.

Partnerships is already on site at Great Eastern Quays, completing the £85 million first phase, which has involved creating 350 new homes. The development sits on a prime location in East London, with spectacular views of the Thames and the nearby City.

Under the new contract Partnerships will build a further 468 homes for Notting Hill on the site, including 164 affordable homes, alongside further landscaping and public amenity works, and 2,400 sqm of commercial, community and retail space.

It represents the largest standalone contract signed by Galliford Try Partnerships, and further cements the excellent long-term relationship with NHH.

Partnerships’ South East business has also signed contracts with real estate developer Almacantar to build 76 homes in a £35 million deal. The Lyons Place development sits adjacent to Little Venice and Maida Vale on Edgware Road in London.

The scheme includes 47 affordable homes, taken by Registered Provider City West Homes, as well as commercial space and a new petrol station.

Stephen Teagle, Chief Executive of Galliford Try Partnerships, said: “These new contracts further strengthen our growing Partnerships & Regeneration business in line with our new strategy announced last month. The Great Eastern Quays project in particular demonstrates our expertise in delivering large-scale regeneration projects and the trust our long-term partners place in us.”
