Kespry Announces 270 Companies Now Use Its Drone-Based Aerial Intelligence Platform

Kespry, the leading aerial intelligence solution provider, announced 270 companies are now using its drone-based aerial intelligence platform at a record pace. In 2019, its customers flew 50,000 missions alone, bringing the total to 127,000 since the company was founded in 2013. 10.6 million images were captured in 2019, with 25.4 million images total across the company’s history. 1.36m acres were surveyed in 2019, bringing that total to 4.38m acres. Kespry is now used by many of the world’s largest mining, aggregates, construction, insurance, pulp and paper, and roofing companies, including Colas, Lafarge, Grinnell Mutual, Lehigh Hanson/Heidelberg, Midsouth Aggregates, Oldcastle, Shelly, Titan America, XAP 360, and Zellstoff Celgar.

Kespry will be on hand, showcasing its solution and customer successes at the 2020 Conexpo-Con/Agg trade show. It’s North America’s largest construction and aggregates exhibition, being held at the Las Vegas Convention Center, March 10-14. Kespry can be found at booth B-93910 in Bronze Hall.

Recently, Kespry has significantly expanded its user options. The company has a new platform pricing model designed to meet the expanding enterprise aerial intelligence requirements of multi-site mining and aggregates companies, including unlimited access to industry-leading, vertically-integrated applications, the Kespry Cloud and AI and ML-based analytics. Kespry also now offers companies the ability to use the senseFly eBee drone, in addition to the DJI Mavic 2 Pro and the DJI Phantom series. The senseFly eBee is a fixed-wing drone ideally suited for large-scale sites.

In addition, Kespry customers now have the ability to go with Kespry-managed drone hardware or work with our partner DroneBase to expand aerial analytics implementations across their worksites. DroneBase can either manage customers’ Kespry deployments or have DroneBase’s global pilot network fly their missions, which can be turned around in 48-72 hours.

“We’ve made it easier than ever to implement Kespry across large industrial worksites,” said George Mathew, CEO. “The tremendous traction we’re experiencing reflects that ease of deployment and the elevated productivity, efficiency and safety our drone-based aerial intelligence platform continues providing. We’re seeing serious expansion across our accounts as we continue increasing the flexibility of how customers can integrate and deploy Kespry at enterprise scale.”

The benefits Kespry customers are experiencing are significant. Kespry enables them to more frequently survey their sites on demand and achieve greater data accuracy while reducing discrepancies and rework. The majority of Kespry customers survey their sites monthly or weekly, with more than a third now engaged in large-scale surveys of 15 or more sites. The result is more accurately-calibrated production, processes and output, meaning companies can granularly deliver on their customers’ requirements and expectations.
