The Wynfrey Hotel in Birmingham, Alabama, is set to embark on a multi-million dollar facelift.
The guest rooms of the 329-room hotel will be completely revamped as part of the project. The remodelled guest rooms will be equipped with amenities such as upgraded bedding as well as a comprehensive soft and case goods package.
The meeting area, along with all the public areas of the facility will undergo an overhaul. The hotel’s fitness centre and outdoor swimming pool will also be redesigned. In addition, the exterior facade of the building will be revamped.
The project is expected to start by 2012 end and is due for completion by March 2013. The hotel already features the Chancellor’s Club level lodging covering two stories, a fitness centre, a business centre, meeting area spanning 32,000 square feet, and various dining facilities.
