Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare , an integrated health care delivery system, has finalized an integrated project delivery team for the design and construction of new Olive Branch hospital in the US.

The team includes Gresham, Smith and Partners , Smith Seckman Reid and Turner Construction Company. Located on the southeast corner of US Highway 78 and Bethel Road, the full-service, 100-bed hospital will support MLH’s dedication to sustainability.

The new hospital will reportedly support the facility’s mission of uniting with patients and their families in providing high quality, cost-effective patient and family-centred care.

Turner Construction Company will provide construction management services for the project and serve as general contractor. IPD requires the entire building team including the owner, architect, engineers, contractor and subcontractors through all phases of design and construction.

Smith Seckman Reid will be provide engineering design, medical communication system planning, commissioning and LEED facilitation services for the project. The facility is being designed to achieve the US Green Building Council Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design certification. Work on the project is set to commence on 19 October 2011.
