Hill International has secured a contract from Qatar Industrial Manufacturing Company (QIMC) to provide project management services for its new $150 million headquarters building in Doha.

The 26-storey mixed-use tower will have 55,000 square meters of floor area and feature office, retail and residential space.

As per the deal, QIMC said it will commence the design phase and secure the required permits to construct the multi-purpose tower on the existing building land.

QIMC CEO Abdul Rahman Al-Ansari said, “This tower will have a distinctive label on the Doha Corniche and this contract will initiate further future cooperation between QIMC and Hill International in both real estate investment and industrial projects.”

Hill project management group senior vice president and managing director of Middle East Mohammed Al Rais the company will work with QIMC to manage the initial design phase of the project.

“We will use our international experience and our local know-how to complete the design phase optimally and within the agreed deadlines,” Al Rais said.

Hill International has recently secured a contract, worth about $22.7 million, from Qatar Petroleum, on behalf of the Qatar Museums Authority, to provide construction management services for the new National Museum of Qatar.
