BAM Construct UK Limited has secured a contract to construct a £9.6 million, ($14.29 million) Middle Row Primary Schools in Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, West London, UK.

The primary school will be constructed on the grounds of the existing school. The new learning spaces will be more modern, comfortable and aesthetically pleasing. The new school will incorporate a speech and language centre, a nursery with a capacity for 30 children.

Designed to bring the 21st Century facilities to the school, the project will include natural ventilation, solar panels, and a green roof. The construction work on the site was scheduled to commence in February 2013, with completion and commencement of operation of the new school building is planned for mid-2014.

The entire school building will be enveloped by external landscaped gardens, which is scheduled for completion in late 2014. The new school will have a capacity to accommodate up to 420 children, in the age group of four to 11.
