A team of CH2M and Hill International has won a contract from the San Diego Association of Governments to develop transport improvements in the US city.

The five-year contract has an estimated potential value of approximately US$60m (£39m) to the team of Hill and CH2M (which until recently called itself CH2M Hill, no relation).

The aim is to develop and construct public transportation improvements, with a focus on roads and highways.  The CH2M/Hill team will provide professional and technical construction management and engineering services in connection with various proposed capital improvement and maintenance projects.

“These improvement projects will have a significant, positive impact on San Diego infrastructure and mobility,” said Michael Tahan, senior vice president in charge of Hill’s highway and bridge practice in California.
