Interbuild, an operating company of Royal BAM Group, has secured contracts more than €20m for two apartment buildings Zuidertuin and Zuiderpromenade and for the Green Desk office building in Belgium.

The apartments and offices are part of the New South (Nieuw Zuid) project, which is located south of Antwerp’s city centre, right next to the Scheldt River and behind the distinctive courthouse.

Interbuild is already working with the project developer Triple Living on building Quay New South with 77 apartments (over 15,000sqm) and commercial premises. Interbuild has also recently started New South Campus, comprising 123 student rooms and 24 studios.

Residence Zuidertuin (South Garden) has two underground and six above-ground floors with 45 apartments, four duplex apartments, and two retail units.

Zuiderpromenade (South Promenade) has an underground floor and six levels above ground and comprises 29 apartments and three retail units. Green Desk comprises four office floors with a total area of 4,023sqm and two underground parking levels.

All buildings in New South will be heated by a collective heating network. The energy consumption for the entire project meets the EPB regulations for new construction projects.
