PEARL2 unveils plans for new affordable housing scheme in UK

PEARL2, a joint venture company between Barnfield Investment Properties and Pendle Council, has unveiled plans for new housing scheme on the cleared site off Holden Road in Brierfield, UK. The project involves construction of 12 new family homes on the land which was cleared of terraced housing in 2009 as part of the regeneration proposals for the area. The new houses will be a mixture of three and four/five bedroom semi-detached and detached houses with gardens and off street parking. Each of the houses will be for private sale, except for the smaller three bedroom houses. All the homes are offered as affordable housing. Re-mediation work involves removing the old roads and utility services to ensure the site is ready for the actual construction work.

The new houses have been designed specifically for the site. The front of the houses will be built in natural stone, with contrasting render.
