BAM Lux, a subsidiary of the Walloon BAM company Galère, has been awarded a contract by the Luxembourg real estate firm Feltes & Associés Promotion for the structural works of an office in Strassen, just west of Luxembourg City. The contract value is €18 million.

Based on a design by architects Archimade, BAM Lux will deliver an elongated and tapered four-storey office building with a total floor space of almost 6,300 m2. A three-level basement, with two parking floors for 70 cars, is situated below and partly next to the office building.

Construction works have started and are expected to be completed in the spring of 2020.

Modern Masonry Systems Supporting Structural and Architectural Flexibility

Modern masonry systems have evolved significantly to balance structural performance with architectural freedom. Contemporary approaches integrate engineered materials, advanced installation techniques, and flexible connection systems that allow masonry to serve both load-bearing and aesthetic functions. These innovations enable architects and builders to create striking commercial and institutional designs while maintaining the durability, fire resistance, and thermal properties that make masonry a reliable choice for contemporary construction.
