The UK government has announced its plans to establish a single construction regulator and has also launched a consultation in order to seek industry feedback.

MHCLG has gone ahead and launched a consultation on December 17, which is going to run until 20 March 2026, with a complete government response to feedback, which is scheduled to be published in summer 2026.
