Installed Building Products, Inc. announced a series of Installed Building Products acquisitions covering Thermo-Tech Mechanical Insulation, Biomax Spray Foam Insulation and CKV Finished Products, strengthening its national presence across residential, commercial and industrial markets.

Thermo-Tech Mechanical Insulation was acquired on February 2, 2026. This company has approximately $13 million in annual revenue. They are located in Watertown, Wisconsin and service Wisconsin, Iowa, Minnesota, Michigan and Illinois. Thermo-Tech Mechanical installs mechanical insulation on HVAC piping, plumbing and process systems for commercial and industrial construction.

Biomax Spray Foam Insulation joined Installed Building Products on January 19, 2026. Biomax has an approximate annual revenue of $5 million. Located in Tyler, Texas, Biomax installs spray foam and fiberglass insulation. Their primary market is new residential construction and commercial construction throughout Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas and Oklahoma.

CKV Finished Products became part of Installed Building Products on December 11, 2025. CKV provides about $4 million in annual revenue. CKV is located in Indianapolis, Indiana. They install finishing products such as shower doors, shelving, mirrors, bath accessories and locksets. CKV primarily serves new residential construction in Indiana, Kentucky and Ohio.

“These acquisitions add over $22 million of annual revenue to IBP while expanding our insulation installation services throughout several compelling residential housing and commercial and industrial markets,” stated Jeff Edwards, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. “Acquisitions remain a key component of our growth strategy, and we continue to focus on expansion across multiple geographies, products, and end markets. On behalf of everyone at Installed Building Products, I want to welcome Thermo-Tech, Biomax, and CKV onto our team.”

The latest Installed Building Products acquisitions support the company’s strategy of diversifying revenue streams while extending service coverage in attractive building product categories throughout the United States.
