Eco Building Products, Inc., has been awarded an order for lumber, trusses and EWP products coated with Red Shield protection to construct a four-storey multi-family project in the Hillcrest area of San Diego, California.

Eco Building is responsible transport the materials in September 2011, representing an estimated total sale of over $650,000 in Dimensional Lumber, Engineered Wood Products and Trusses all coated with Red Shield protection.

US-based Legacy Building Services is constructing the project, which includes 90,000 square feet, four-storey building. Upon completion, the 86-unit facility will offer a grand red shield billboard.

The project owner incorporated Eco Building protected lumber, working toward LEED certifications in order to take advantage of local tax incentives.

Eco Building president and CEO, Steve Conboy, was reported stating that the company has received a good mix of production house tracts along with custom homes and now high density multi-family jobs.
