FM Conway has secured a renewal for its highway maintenance contract with the London Borough of Bexley.
The new contract starts on 1st October 2015 and runs for an initial four and a half years, with the option to extend for a further five years to 2025.
Under the contract, FM Conway will deliver highway maintenance and civil engineering projects across Bexley. ย The contractor will be able to use its own construction materials, produced at its recycling and manufacturing facilities across London.
FM Conway chief operating officer Andrew Hansen said: โThis is a significant contract win for the business, and weโre thrilled to be continuing our strong working relationship with the London Borough of Bexley.
“Our self-delivery model is built around helping our clients to gain greater control over their highways assets; improving efficiency and taking cost out of the management of the local road network.
Securing this contract demonstrates our ability to deliver highways maintenance services as part of a robust asset management plan, and reflects the value we are able to offer our clients through our unique approach to self-delivery of all services.โ
