3D Repo are excited to announce that we are finalists in the City on a Cloud Innovation Challenge, brought to you by AWS and Intel, for our 3D planning portal for residents and planners, PlanBase!

The challenge aims to promote big ideas that can make a major impact on communities through modern technology.

A big congratulations to the other finalists! Winners will be announced after February 10. PlanBase is an open-source 3D planning portal where residents and planners alike can easily review planning proposals and comment on them where it matters most. Through data and smart technology, PlanBase democratises the planning process to help drive participation and engagement across all groups of people.

“3D Repo developed PlanBase in partnership with the Greater London Authority to allow members of the public to review and comment on proposed developments in their local area. Doing away with traditional 2D drawings and complicated blocks of text, this new 3D modelling system allows the general public to clearly see proposed developments directly in their web browser. This leads them to be more involved and feel more informed as their community changes around them.”
