    • Max Bögl group opts for 25 Liebherr earthmoving machines
    • Use in earthworks on sections of the new Suedlink and SuedOstLink routes
    • Max Bögl relies on Liebherr machines with high efficiency and proven quality
    • Long-standing partnership between Liebherr, Beutlhauser, and Max Bögl

The Max Bögl Group relies on Liebherr: 25 earthmoving machines will be in use for Bögl in the future. Part of the major order includes 16 crawler excavators, which Max Bögl has taken over from the Beutlhauser Group as a Liebherr sales partner. In future, the Liebherr R 930, R 934, and R 926 Compact crawler excavators will be used together with five new A 924 wheeled excavators for earthworks on sections of the new Suedlink and SuedOstLink routes. The machine package is supplemented by two Liebherr L 575 XPower and L 585 XPower wheel loaders, which are used in own quarries and extraction operations of Max Bögl.

As part of the network expansion for the energy transition, new power lines are being built in Germany to enable the transport of renewable energies over long distances. The SuedLink and SuedOstLink high-voltage direct current transmission lines are among the key projects. The Max Bögl Group is responsible for laying empty conduits in several construction phases. The company is relying on Liebherr for the implementation: a total of 21 of the 25 earthmoving machines are being used on the construction sites.

Max Bögl trusts in Liebherr’s proven quality and focuses on the lower fuel consumption compared to comparable machines from other manufacturers. However, it was not only technical efficiency that was decisive in the choice: the reliable and customer-oriented service provided by the Beutlhauser Group for Liebherr machines also played a decisive role. The combination of economical operation and extensive support ultimately convinced Bögl to specifically choose Liebherr machines.

Powerful Generation 8 crawler excavators in action

Liebherr has fundamentally redesigned its crawler excavators with Generation 8. The R 930 and R 934 models exemplify the increased performance, higher efficiency, and improved ease of operation of this series. Features such as increased engine power, optimized boom forces, and reduced fuel consumption contribute to productivity on the construction site. The machines meet the requirements of EU Stage V emissions standards and are equipped with robust X-shaped undercarriages and automatic central lubrication – for more stability and a longer service life in daily use.

The Liebherr R 926 Compact combines the performance of a standard crawler excavator with the advantages of compact dimensions. This makes it particularly suitable for use in inner-city areas with limited space. A wide range of equipment options allows the R 926 Compact to be flexibly configured for earthmoving, civil engineering, and demolition work.

Liebherr A 924 wheeled excavator: Efficient all-rounder for demanding earthmoving work

The Liebherr A 924 wheeled excavator is a powerful wheeled excavator that has been specially designed for demanding earthmoving work – such as that required for large-scale infrastructure projects like the SuedLink route. With an operating mass of 21,500 to 26,500 kg and an engine power of 140 kW (190 hp), the machine meets the requirements of emission stage V while offering high efficiency and low fuel consumption. The large backhoe bucket capacity of up to 1.65 m³ and the high digging force enable fast and powerful material handling. Thanks to its short tail swing radius of 2,900 mm, the A 924 can also be used flexibly on confined construction sites. The combination of precise control, robust construction, and high mobility makes it an ideal solution for economical use in civil engineering and pipeline construction.

Xpower wheel loaders: Maximum productivity with minimum consumption

In quarries and extraction operations, the four Xpower wheel loaders impress with their high productivity and efficiency when handling heavy rock materials. At the heart of the machines is a power-split travel drive, which Liebherr installs as standard in all Xpower wheel loaders. It automatically and infinitely variable combines the advantages of hydrostatic and mechanical drives, ensuring maximum performance and efficiency for the various requirements in the extraction sector.

In addition to their efficient drive technology, the Xpower wheel loaders also impress with their powerful handling performance. The robust, powerful lift arm with z-bar kinematics ensures high torque in the lower lift arm area and enables easy and fast filling of the shovel – ideal for picking up and transporting heavy rock. The ergonomically designed cab ensures comfortable and fatigue-free working, while the large, glazed area provides a clear view in all directions and of the working attachment.

Liebherr, Beutlhauser, and Bögl: a strong partnership

The collaboration between Liebherr, Beutlhauser, and the Max Bögl group of companies represents a reliable and goal-oriented partnership. Representatives from all three partner companies came together for the official handover of the machine to underscore their long-standing partnership and shared understanding of quality and efficiency in the implementation of demanding construction projects. In the presence of Rudolf Arnold (Managing Director of Sales, Liebherr-Hydraulikbagger GmbH) and Dr. Thomas Burgstaller (Managing Director of the Beutlhauser Group), two Liebherr R 930 crawler excavators were symbolically handed over to Stefan Bögl (CEO, Max Bögl Group) and Richard Honig (General Manager of Max Bögl Transport & Geräte GmbH & Co. KG) as a symbolic handover of the entire delivery of 25 machines.
