Skanska has sold two commercial properties in Gothenburg and Mölndal, Sweden, for about SEK 340 M. The buyer is an investment consortium put together by NRP. Wilfast has assisted the buyer and will manage the portfolio.

The divestment will be recorded by Skanska Commercial Development Nordic in the second quarter 2018. The transfer of the properties is scheduled for June 2018.

The commercial properties comprise a total of about 13,600 square meters and are fully rented to Mediamarkt, Airhop, Max, Sats, Arken Zoo and Sova in Torpavallen in the area Munkebäck in Gothenburg and to Axfood / Dagab and Mekonomen in the area Eklanda in Mölndal.

The properties in Eklanda were completed in 2017, while Torpavallens is a well-established and well-visited trading venue, environmentally certified according to LEED.

Skanska is one of the leading development and construction companies in the Nordics, with operations in building construction and civil engineering in Sweden, Norway and Finland, and developing residential and commercial property projects in select home markets. The commercial development stream is also active in Denmark. Skanska offers services in public-private partnerships. Skanska had sales of about SEK 65 billion and more than 15,000 employees in its Nordic operations during 2017.
