ABC Supply Interiors, Inc., formerly L&W Supply Corp., has expanded its operations in Wisconsin through the acquisition of the assets of Wallboard, Inc., a Butler-based distributor of drywall, steel framing, insulation and related building materials. The transaction broadens the companyโ€™s reach in the Milwaukee metropolitan area while enhancing its ability to serve contractors and builders across the region. The move also adds another established location to the distributorโ€™s network as it continues to strengthen its presence in key construction markets. This latest development underscores the companyโ€™s ongoing investment in local operations and customer support. ABC Supply Interiors said the acquisition aligns with its strategy of combining national resources with strong regional relationships to better meet contractor needs.

Founded in 1983, Wallboard, Inc. has built a longstanding presence in southeastern Wisconsin, serving contractors from its facility at 13111 W. Glendale Ave. Following the acquisition, the business will continue operating from its existing location and retain its experienced workforce. The continuity of operations is expected to provide a seamless transition for customers while preserving the relationships and expertise developed over decades of service. The addition of Wallboard, Inc. also expands the acquiring companyโ€™s footprint in a market where it has continued to invest in distribution capabilities and customer support resources.

โ€œWallboard, Inc. has earned its respected reputation by consistently taking care of contractors,โ€ said Mark Woodsum, vice president of ABC Supply Interiorsโ€™ North Central Region. โ€œThat contractor-first mindset fits well with who we are, and weโ€™re excited about what we can do together.โ€

With the Butler facility joining its network, ABC Supply Interiors now operates eight locations across Wisconsin, including two serving the Milwaukee metro area. The company said the acquisition reinforces its long-term commitment to contractors throughout the region. By combining its nationwide distribution platform with locally focused operations, the company aims to maintain strong customer relationships while delivering construction materials and support services tailored to regional market requirements.
