Reno Contracting, a US-based general contractor, has been awarded a $7.3 million tenant improvement project for the Latham & Watkins law firm in California.

The work will include preconstruction services of preliminary pricing, cost studies, material procurement and selection, design development budget, final pricing and construction for occupancy of the new 69,000 square feet, three-floor exclusive law office.

The project will include the construction of a 3,500 square feet patio on the ground floor and finishes on the 3,500 square feet, third-floor exterior deck. It incorporates core restrooms and building lobbies, as well as high-end finishes and unique design elements.

The architect for the project is Gensler while Hughes Marino is construction manager of the project. The project will be aspired for LEED Gold Certification. The preconstruction work on the project will begin January 2013, with completion is expected for January 2014.
