Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. announced that it has received a contract from DuPont Titanium Technologies (DuPont) to provide full engineering procurement and construction management (EPCM) services for the company’s Mexico titanium dioxide capacity expansion project. Officials did not disclose the contract value, however noted that the project work is being led by Jacobs’ Houston office with support from its offices in Mexico and Mumbai.

Under the agreement, Jacobs is providing full EPCM services for the upgrades to one of DuPont’s titanium dioxide sites in Mexico. The facility will receive an investment of more than $500 million and is expected to be completed at the end of 2014. In making the announcement, Jacobs Group Vice President Mike Autrey stated, “This is a very significant project for DuPont, and we are pleased to provide our support at the site.”
