The international law firm’s new home – One St Peter’s Square in Manchester

DLA Piper has appointed specialist fit-out and refurbishment contractor, Como to deliver the £3.4m fit out of the international law firm’s new home in the heart of Manchester city centre – One St Peter’s Square.

Como will be managing a fast turnaround project to deliver the fit out of the eighth and ninth floors of the building to Cat A and Cat B. The project will create a high-end, high quality work and entertaining space, befitting a leading global legal firm and will include the installation of a bespoke staircase, kitchen and catering facilities and client-facing areas to create the impact and impression that DLA Piper is looking to achieve.

The work will be taking place in a live environment while the building is occupied, and so a key focus for the Como team will be on building strong relationships with the facilities team and ensure that robust lines of communication are maintained throughout the project.

Trevor Bacon, Business Unit Director at Como, said: ”I am delighted that we have been appointed to deliver such a high-profile project for one of the UK’s leading law firms. This appointment confirms Como’s expansion of work outside of London and we are delighted to be able to bring our strong track record of delivery to Manchester.”
