Turner Construction Company is pleased to announce that longtime client TriHealth has selected the firm to manage construction of a $72 million Comprehensive Care Center the Thomas Center expanding the services offered at their Bethesda North campus in Montgomery, Ohio.

“Turner has worked with TriHealth in the Cincinnati area for more than 40 years – a great history of collaboration has enabled us to hit the ground running in this preconstruction phase,” said Rick Zehring, project manager. “We have the experience and relationships to help them realize their vision of a one-stop care destination, with facilities and services to treat the whole person.”

The Center will bring together radiation, surgical, and medical oncology services with a variety of outpatient cancer therapies and support services, from precision medicine and genetic counseling to nutrition education and survivorship programs. It will also be home to cutting-edge research, clinical trials, and emerging treatment protocols. The project also includes construction of a 145,000-square foot parking garage.

“Environment and atmosphere make a huge difference when you’re in treatment, battling cancer,” added Zehring, noting that nearly everyone has been touched, in some way, by the disease. “We’re looking forward to delivering a beautiful, comfortable environment that supports personal connection and the delivery of great care as well as healing and hope.”

The project plans to break ground in early May, with completion scheduled for spring of 2020.
