Liebherr opens new $46 million sales and service centre in Australia

Liebherr-Australia Pty Limited, an arm of the construction equipment manufacturer Liebherr Group, has opened a new AUD44 million ($45.78 million) sales and service centre for construction machinery near Sydney, New South Wales Australia.

The new centre is located at Erskine Park and accommodates a repair and service hall, including a spare parts warehouse, which has a total area of about 5,900 square metres.

The site also includes an adjacent 3,000 square metres office space. The construction on the project commenced in 2010 and was completed in a span of approximately 16 months.

Liebherr will be using the new facility to coordinate sales and service activities for its mobile and crawler cranes, earthmoving equipment and deep foundation machines. The new facility will enable the company to serve its customers in Australia and New Zealand.
