The app claims to be a one-of-its-kind in the region’s home maintenance industry as it allows owners and tenants alike to track the progress of their home maintenance service requests, from reporting the issue to the job completion stage.

In addition, the app tracks the exact arrival time of the technician in real time, using Google Maps. It also allows customers to approve online the cost of materials used, faciliating the home repair process.

Covering all forms of maintenance and repair, including electrical and plumbing, water tank cleaning, air conditioning maintenance, gardening, smart home product repairs and updates, cleaning and handyman services, as well as pool maintenance, the app aims to “negate the need for tedious amounts of administration work,” the director of information and communications technology at Farnek, Javeria Aijaz, said.

“Convenience combined with quality, reliability and value for money for our customers is key. Not only does the platform further extend our customer-focused offering, but it also reinforces our position as the leading technology-driven home maintenance specialist in the UAE,” Aijaz added.
