Skanska has signed a contract with Six South Partners, an affiliate of Charleston, to build a residential apartment building in Nashville, Tennessee, USA. The contract is worth USD 74 M, about SEK 690 M, which will be included in the US order bookings for the third quarter 2019.

Skanska will build a new 12-story, 41,600-square-meter residential apartment development with street-level retail space. The project features studio, one- and two-bedroom unit apartments as well as an amenity level, featuring a pool on top of the parking garage.

Construction began September 2019, and is scheduled for completion in August 2021.

Skanska is one of the leading construction and development companies in USA, specializing in building construction, civil infrastructure and developing commercial properties in select U.S. markets. Skanska USA had sales of SEK 67 billion and about 9,000 employees in its operations in 2018.
