The new appointments are expected to strengthen the company’s data centre leadership team in the wake of recent major project wins across western and northern Europe.

Stephen Henley has joined from Mace as European operations director. His role includes responsibility for health & safety and quality.

Chris McDermott joins ISG as commercial director from EC Harris, where he was a partner in the firm’s property division. His job is to improve the business and implement the company’s strategic procurement plan.

Paul Cossell, managing director of ISG’s Fit Out and Engineering Services business, said: “Further strengthening our data centre senior leadership team underlines our determination to become the provider of choice in this technically complex sector.
