ET Solar Group Corporation, a provider of solar modules and photovoltaic (PV) solutions, has signed an agreement to build various solar projects totalling 50MW in Romania for Tinmar-Ind S.A.

The plants are located in three counties in southern Romania: Gorj, Giurgiu and Dolj. About 20MW are presently under construction and are expected to be completed before the end of 2012.

The grid connection and electricity feed-in is expected to take place in the first quarter of 2013. The remaining 30MW are currently under planning with the construction scheduled to begin before the end of 2012.

Under the terms of the agreement, ET Solar acts as the exclusive PV module supplier and ET Solutions AG, the German subsidiary of ET Solar, provides engineering, procurement and construction and construction financing. The operations and maintenance services for the plants will also be provided by ET Solar.

ET Solar, with local sales and marketing subsidiaries and offices in Asia, Europe and North America, has provided solar modules, turnkey solutions services and PV balance of system components to its customers in more than 50 countries.
