UK-based BAM Construction has announced that the Bridgwater schools project is in progress as per schedule as it is preparing to inaugurate Trinity Sports and Leisure Centre at the Chilton Trinity Technology College in the UK. BAM Construction will open Trinity Sports and Leisure Centre on 9 November 2011, which is part of the £50 million ($80.5 million) education build across Bridgwater. The developer has made fast progress in Somerset to complete phase I construction work to the community.

The £25 million ($40.2 million) college is 56 weeks through its programme and the next phase of the Bridgwater schools to complete will be the handover of Chilton Trinity Technology College and Robert Blake and Elmwood School in October 2012.

BAM’s Western construction team also at work on projects across the south west and the south of Wales, such as the Hadyn Elis Building for Cardiff University, and Britain’s first zero carbon primary school in Exeter.
