Advancing Prefabrication 2026

STRABAG Oman, a subsidiary of Arabian group STRABAG, has won a €150m contract from Ministry of Transport and Communication of the Sultanate of Oman to build roads and infrastructure at Duqm port in Oman. As per the contract STRABAG Oman will establish shipyard access, docks and warehouses.In addition the company will also build six, four, and two-lane expressways.The company will also build drinking water and fire fighting water lines, waste water systems, irrigation systems and the electricity and telecommunications infrastructure. 

Oman is planning a $2.6bn A’Duqum Port located between Sultan Qaboos port in Muscat and Salalah Port, will have the capacity to handle 3.5 million containers, with future plans to expand this to 20 million containers.
