UK-based construction firm Leadbitter Group has completed construction work on a 15-unit affordable housing development on behalf of Radian, which manages more than 17,000 homes in the south UK.
The scope of work involved the demolition of an existing sheltered housing scheme and transformed into nine flats and six town houses.
The development of affordable homes features both one- and two-bedroom apartments and three-bedroom town houses. The ground floor apartments all have private gardens,as do the town houses, which also include two parking spaces. Improvements to both access to and parking within the cul-de-sac were also included in the project.
The entire development was completed with a total investment capital of £1.5 million ($2.4 million). The new housing scheme was the second project that Leadbitter has successfully completed for Radian.
