Nakheel, a developer, has issued two tenders for maintenance works at its properties in Dubai.

The tenders cover infrastructure maintenance services at Discovery Gardens, for external MEP utilities and the operation and maintenance of street lights at Jumeirah Village – Triangle, Jumeirah Village – Circle, Jumeirah Park and Al Furjan.

Both tenders have a closing date of 16 April. Tender documents can be obtained from Nakheel, although only companies with a valid license from the Dubai government will be eligible to take part.

This latest release brings the number of tenders issues by the company in the last two weeks to six.

Nakheel also issued an update on the progress of its community centre in the Discovery Gardens development. In a statement on its website, it reports that construction is 35% complete on the 8700m2 project, which is scheduled to open in 2014.
