A fire broke out on an ongoing construction site in Silicon Oasis shortly after 9:30pm on Sunday evening following an audible explosion.
The first person to publicly report the fire was a Twitter user located in a building nearby, @Kenna, who tweeted at 9:42pm saying: “Heard an explosion … turns out there’s fire, called civil defense and they’re on their way.”
Images from further Twitter users and subsequent reporting indicate that the fire was luckily restricted to the outbuildings on site, and was unable to spread to surrounding structures. As of yet, no injuries have been reported.
It is also unclear whether or not any persons were present in the temporary structures where the fire originated or what the precise cause of the explosion might have been.
