Dutch construction company Pellikaan has started work on a new £9.3m sports centre in Newbury, Berkshire, for David Lloyd Leisure. The new 3,300m2 club, scheduled to open in December, will have both indoor and outdoor heated pools, and tennis and squash courts as well as gym and fitness facilities.
The project has been designed by Sheffield-based architect Hadfield Cawkwell Davidson.
It will be the 92nd club in the David Lloyd Leisure group.
