Opus Design Build, LLC has secured a contract from Kansas Health Foundation to design and construct a new facility that will serve as the Kansas Leadership Center’s statewide headquarters and a conference center for the Kansas Health Foundation.

The new three-storey, 36,000 square feet facility will serve multiple functions for the organization, including hosting conferences, group meetings, lectures and trainings. Designed to achieve LEED Gold certification, the building will feature office and classroom space as well as a 210-person auditorium.

The new facility will be located in close proximity to the current Foundation building, allowing for greater collaboration and giving visitors easy access to either organization.

Construction of the Kansas Leadership Center and Kansas Health Foundation Conference Center is set to begin in July 2012 with completion slated for July 2013. Opus Design Build, LLC. is serving as the design-builder on the project. Opus AE Group, Inc. will serve as architect and engineer of record.
