A collaboration of HMS Belfast and Prestige London is set to create a new Quayside Pavilion near HMS Belfast on Queens Walk in London. The design of the project has been conceived by Nottingham-based architecture firm CPMG Architects.

The new facility will substitute the present platform on Queens Walk while featuring an upgraded entry and retail units including a cafe situated on the ground level, as well as a rooftop café-bar. The design of the new Pavilion will be more in tune with the encompassing area.

The new entrance will offer information about HMS Belfast to the visitors. The roof top café-bar will provide views of the surrounding landscape while the new coffee bar will be most suitable to serve family visitors. In addition, a new gangway will be created following the overhaul which will allow easy access to various groups, schools and corporate clients while also facilitating service deliveries. The project is slated to begin by the end of 2011 and is due for completion by mid-2012.
