US-based crane distributor Fascan International has acquired the Jekko spider and pick & carry crane distribution business of C4 Cranes of Brooklyn Park, Minnesota.Fascan distributes Fassi loader cranes throughout the US via a network of more than 80 dealers, and will have the sole rights to sell Jekko in the US, while Strongco distributes Jekko in Canada. Under the terms of the acquisition, C4 will continue to support Jekko crane sales under the Fascan umbrella, as reported by Vertikal. Keith Shank of C4 was reported stating that the acquisition will provide Jekko cranes national coverage, adding up to 80 new dealers to C4’s eight location dealer network.
Fascan’s CEO Bernie Faloney reportedly stated that the Jekko cranes will fit well alongside the Fassi loader cranes and will provide the company’s dealers with an additional complimentary product line.
