Emeritus Senior Living, a US-based assisted living and memory care provider, plans to build a new senior living community called Emeritus at Kingwood in Houston, Texas.

Emeritus at Kingwood will be a premier new senior living community, which is slated for opening in late 2012. The community, specifically designed for seniors, will be built at Lake Houston area of Texas. The community will offer assisted living and memory care, as well as short-term rehabilitation and long-term skilled nursing services to seniors. The centre will offer Emeritus Senior Living’s innovative memory care program, called Join Their Journey.

Emeritus at Kingwood will have 93 private and shared apartments, which will include 49 assisted living apartments, 26 memory care apartments, and 18 skilled nursing apartments. Other amenities for the residents of Kingwood will include outdoor courtyards, dining rooms, and spacious and welcoming common areas.

Emeritus Senior Living serves approximately 49,700 residents living in 478 communities throughout 44 states of US. Emeritus offers a spectrum of senior residential choices, care options and life enrichment programs that fulfill individual needs and promote purposeful living throughout the aging process.
