Former Balfour Beatty project director George Young has joined Dunne as its new construction director of its main contracting division.

George Young

In a newly created role, George Young will oversee all Dunne’s main contract projects throughout Scotland and Ireland.

Mr Young said: “I look forward to working with the main contracting teams across Dunne at this very exciting time for the company.”

He was at Balfour Beatty for 27 years, ultimately rising to project director responsible construction projects in the healthcare, education and student accommodation sectors throughout the UK.

Dunne’s managing director for Scotland and Ireland, Patrick Reel, said “We are constantly striving to pursue a better way of delivering for our clients and I believe that George will provide the necessary experience and impetus to drive this forward.”
