Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital begins critical care unit facelift

Work will involve installation of a new HVAC unit to better the flow of air as well as temperature. The hospital will also be fitted with a bathroom dedicated for patients. The bathroom will comprise a shower while abiding by ADA norms to facilitate the disabled as reported in the Democrat Herald.

The front of the building will receive an overhaul as part of the project. The refurbished facility will incorporate a new lift for patients along with new space for storing various equipments. It will also be equipped with improved flooring and will be repainted. A medical air compressor and distribution system will be among the other new features installed in the facility following the makeover.

The project has received contributions of $550,000 from the Lebanon Community Hospital Foundation. Construction is slated for completion by early 2012.
