Human Machine Collaboration on Modern Construction Sites

Modern construction sites increasingly feature integrated teams where workers and machines collaborate as complementary partners, each contributing unique strengths toward shared objectives. This exploration examines collaborative workflows where technology augments human skill and judgment, improving overall productivity while simultaneously reducing physical strain on workers and enabling safer, more controlled construction processes. A mixed-use project has been launched at international property event MIPIM in Cannes, French Riviera.

The development is situated adjacent to the Turkish Telecom Arena in Seyrantepe, Turkey. Its concept and schematic design has been conceived by Broadway Malyan for Turkish developer Eroglu Property. The design firm is expected to complete the detailed design of the scheme by mid-2012.

The facility will span over a total area of 525,000 square metres. The project will lead to creation of a pair of residential and office towers, measuring 46 floors in height each. Other features of the scheme include a five-star hotel, and a shopping centre encompassing five levels which will be topped by a two-storey open public piazza.

The design of the project draws reference to the area’s geography on the outskirts of Seyrantepe adjacent to the countryside. The development will also sport contextual land forms featuring a coherent geometrical form.
