has acquired Hardcrete, a prominent concrete supplier from South England. After the acquisition, the company is going to become part of Breedon Minimix, the concrete business.
Hardcrete, which was founded in 2000, is a family-run business that goes on to serve customers throughout London, Hertfordshire, and Middlesex and is a prominent concrete supplier from South England. The company is into supplying ready-mix concrete along with concrete line pump hire as well as minimix concrete.
With this acquisition, the company now joins brands such as 1st Mix as well as Express Minimix as part of Breedon Minimix. The acquisition is aimed at further strengthening as well as developing the business. Breedon Minimix offers smaller loads of ready-mix concrete across projects that need lower volumes and to sites having restricted access.
Ian Smith, the Breedon GB Managing Director for Cement and Building Products, went on to describe Hardcrete as a strong and valuable addition to Breedon, stating that the acquisition goes on to reflect their consistent commitment when it comes to investing within businesses that strengthen their market position across major regions and also act as a support for their long-term growth strategy of being a nationally trusted concrete supplier.
He went on to add that this acquisition upgrades their Southeast coverage, hence helping them to offer the dependability, quality, and service that their
Minimix customers anticipate as they expand their geographical coverage. With more than 100 trucks that operate out of more than 130 locations, they continue to lead the UK market when it comes to minimix concrete.
General Manager of Minimix at Breedon GB, Jeremy Edinborough, said that a strong reputation as well as established presence support of Handcrete support their ambitious plans to thrust the Minimix brand throughout the country.
