Work starts on $300m tower unveiled at Bahrain Bay

Nama International Real Estate – a subsidiary of Kooheji Global Holding – has launched its $300m mixed-use project ‘KGH Tower’ situated at Bahrain Bay, in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

Kooheji Global Holding’s managing director, Mr. Tariq Al-Kooheji, confirmed the project will be developed in two phases.

Phase will consist of a four-star hotel with around 175 keys, 120 luxury serviced apartments and high-end commercial office space complemented by a retail zone with multi-storey car park space.

Phase 2 will develop a five-star hotel comprising of around 240 rooms. The announcement took place during the signing ceremony at the head office of the Bahrain Bay Development Company between Nama International Real Estate and Bahrain Bay Development. Official representatives included Mr. Tariq Al-Kooheji, Managing Director of Kooheji Global Holding and Mr. Abdulla Al-Doseri, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Bahrain Bay Development.

In a statement, Kooheji Global Holding managing director, Al-Kooheji, commented: “We have started communicating with top international hotel brands and operators to be our partners, and overall paid careful thought and consideration to make sure that the project will be developed based on the highest international design standards catering to the growing needs of the hospitality and commercial sectors in the kingdom of Bahrain” added Mr. Al-Kooheji.
