The intralogistics sector meets at Materials Handling Middle East from 14 to 16 September 2015

German exhibitors with great expectations of the Middle East

Renowned German companies from the intralogistics sector have signed up to make presentations at the 8th Materials Handling Middle East from 14 to 16 September 2015. As the hub between Asia,Europe and Africa, Dubai will once again be the central meeting place for the fields of materials handling, logistics and warehousing technology. Altogether, over 150 exhibitors from 17 countries will be presenting their innovative products and services at the fair.

Ahmed Pauwels, CEO of Messe Frankfurt Middle East, organisers ofthe fair at Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre,says, “FMCG, retail, pharmaceuticals, oil & gas, automotive and logistics are all sectors that rely on materials handling equipment to optimize productivity, from the storage, control, movement, and protection of products, through to their consumption and disposal.Continued development across these key sectors of the regional economy is increasing demand for high-quality materials handling systems and solutions, all of which will share centre-stage this year at Materials Handling Middle East 2015”

The aim of German exhibitors is to increase their business in the Middle East. In this connection, Dr Ralf Lüning, CEO of Unitechnik Systems GmbH, explains: “Dubai and the United Arab Emirates represent an outstanding platform for local and regional business. Dubai is rapidly expanding its position as a cargo hub and can boast very good connections with Saudi Arabia, another potential growth market. We are looking forward to the 8th Materials Handling. SSI Schaefer, supplier and manufacturer of logistics systems,logistics software, workplace furnishings, warehousing technology and waste-disposal equipment, has been active and very successful in the Arabian market since 2001. Discussing his company’s participation, Matthias Höwer, General Manager, SSI Schaefer Systems International DWC LLC, says, “Materials Handling Middle East offers a great platform to local and international suppliers to present a wide range of products to the region. In the past years, our focus was to showcase new technologies and automated systems. This year is the first time that Kärcher ZFE will be showing its range of cleaning equipment and systems at Materials Handling Middle East.
