Skanska builds mixed-use development in London, UK, for GBP 140M, about SEK 1.6 billion

Skanska has signed a contract for constructing a mixed-use commercial and retail development in the City of London, UK. The client is confidential. The contract is worth GBP 140M, about SEK 1.6 billion, which will be included in the order bookings for Europe in the first quarter 2018.

The project includes remodeling and refurbishment of an existing structure, demolition of part of the building before adding new floors.
Enabling works has begun and the scheme is due to be completed in 2020.
