Dubai Airport seeks bids for expansion work

Dubai Aviation City Corporation (DACC) has sought bids from contractors for the third phase of expansion of the Dubai International Airport in the UAE.

The third phase of the project will expand and refurbish the existing terminal 2 facility of the airport including a new departures and a 205m-long and 90m-wide check-in hall.The new terminal building will be located adjacent to the existing Terminal 2 and the work also includes the refurbishment of the existing lounges, baggage and arrival halls.

 

The DACC is requesting prequalification submissions for the superstructure, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP), SAS, finishes and site works for the Terminal 2 expansion.The airport corporation has sought bids by 23 June 2011.
