Columbia Rheumatology begins work on expansion project

Columbia Rheumatology of Kennewick located in Kennewick, Washington, is set to begin work on a $2.5 million expansion project.Work will involve construction of a building spanning 13,000 square feet which will be equivalent to thrice the size of the existing facility. The building will house 20 exam rooms. The infusion services will also be expanded as part of the project as reported by the tri-city herald. 

The expanded facility will provide bone-density X-rays and an in-house lab while enabling provisions for creation of a physical therapy unit or other services. The new structure will also comprise the Apex Clinical Research to facilitate clinical trials and research related to rheumatology.The project is due for completion by the end of November 2011.
