The last tunnel section of the north-south line that will form the connection between Amsterdam Central Station and the bored tunnels is in place, it was revealed last week.

The job took two and a half months to complete; workers now awaits the caisson at approximately 21m to be connected to the two tunnel sections. This is the last missing tunnel section between metrohal of Central and bored tunnels of the north-south line from the Damrak canal.
